The academic panels of the Expert Meeting of the 5th Global Congress of Imam Reza (PBUH)
According to Astan News, Dr. Abdulhamid Talebi, the head of Scientific and Cultural Organization of Astan Quds Razavi, the expert meeting of the 5th Global Congress of Imam Reza (PBUH) with the slogan "Civilization Thought of Imam Reza (PBUH): Justice for Everyone, Injustice for No One" will be held on May 30, 2023, and the secretariat of the congress, Dr. Seyyed Saeed Reza Ameli, has prepared a series of meetings as preparation of the congress. The second pre-meeting will be held by prominent Iranian and International intellectuals and thinkers.
The First Panel: Rationality and Justice in the Razavi School
According to the announcement of the secretariat of the congress, in the first panel, starting at 9:30 A.M. , Dr. Mohammad Taghi Sobhani, Dr. Hamid Parsania, and Dr. Reza Berenjkar will address the topic of "Rationality and Justice in the Razavi School" in the first meeting. Other topics of the first panel will be justice, humanity, reason and religion and the common truth of monotheistic religions from the perspective of Imam Reza (PBUH).
The Second Panel: A civilizational and Universal Approach to Razavi's Teachings
In the Second panel of the congress, which is scheduled to start at 2:30 P.M., Dr. Mohsen Alviri, Dr. Mohammad Hadi Homayoun, Dr. Olsi Jazexhi (Professor of the Islamic University of Malaysia) and Dr. Marjan Asi will give speeches. The consequences of tyranny in Razavi's teachings, the strategic geography of civilization of the emigration of Imam Reza (PBUH), Islam in Europe and the hadith of Imam Reza (PBUH) on opposition and disobedience to the oppressive rulers are the topics of discussion in this panel.
The Third Panel: Social Behavior of Imam Reza (PBUH), Teachings and Practices
According to the schedule, Ayatollah Moballeghi, Hojjat al-Islam Hossein Ozjan from Turkey, and Dr. Rebecca Masterton, professor of the Islamic College of London, will discuss the dimensions of Imam Reza's social life. Particularly, Dr. Rebecca Masterton will speak about "The duty of Muslims in the campaign to reform the British judicial system based on the teachings of Ahl al-Bayt (AS) with an emphasis on the Sunnah and the teachings of Imam Reza (PBUH)."
The Fourth Panel: The Establishment of Justice based on Respect for Human Dignity in the Practical Tradition of Razavi
In the fourth panel, from 4:30 P.M., Dr. Azarbayjani, Dr. Jahangiri, Sheikh Abdul Moneim Al-Zein, and Dr. Nazmineh Danji (Head of the Arabic Studies Department of Al-Mahdi Institute) will express their opinions on the issue of establishing justice based on respect for human dignity in the practical tradition of Imam Reza (PBUH).
Keynote Speakers
This congress will also host Archbishop Siboh Sarkisian, Caliph of the Armenians of Tehran, as well as Imam Mohammad Asi, Head of the Washington Islamic Center.
